IFDL is the sole sub-distributor in Hong Kong and Macau for all Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures (including Walt Disney Pictures, Touchstone Pictures, Disney-Pixar Pictures and Miramax Pictures), and United International Pictures (Paramount Pictures International and DreamWorks Animation). It also acquires quality independent productions internationally from all over the world including the US, Europe, Japan and South Korea. Furthermore, the company was granted the Hong Kong distribution rights for all media by Japanese media giant, Kadokawa Pictures.
Assistant Accounting Manager
Job Description
  • Financial Reporting / Accounting and Supervision

  • Supervise the preparation of various financial/management reports

  • Familiar with accounting rules and standards

  • Prepare group consolidation monthly

  • Prepare analysis reports and other ad hoc reports as required from time to time

  • Review & examine the financial statements and assist in quarterly / monthly forecast

  • Assist in the annual budgets for both individual companies & the Group

  • Assist in / close monitor working capital management

  • Oversee the accounting / financial matters of JV projects / business
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant or a finalist or with a Postgraduate degree/diploma in Accounting

  • Degree Holder in Accounting, Business or related fields

  • 7 years solid commercial accounting experience in a sizable company, preferably in entertainment industry, with 2 years at supervisory level

  • Analytical and good analysis / management reporting skills with good understanding of Accounting Standards

  • Excellent management & supervisory skills

  • Proactive with excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Good interpersonal & organization skills

  • Hands on experience in and a good knowledge of computerized accounting system and MS application

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, conversational Putonghua
