Job Description
- To build, implement and maintain world-class quality system to support business growth and prevent quality and regulatory risks for the Group's consumer electronics products
- To be responsible for the strategic planning, development & training, launching & execution, monitoring and reporting of the product quality assurance, quality systems, procedures and guidelines to fulfill the requirements of the Group, customers as well as international safety and quality standards
- To drive and monitor supplier quality management including factory audit and appraisal in order to drive for continuous improvement of quality, efficiency and effectiveness of our suppliers
- To liaise with external parties such as certification bodies, consultants, testing laboratories etc. on matters related to quality, environmental & corporate responsibility management systems, banded substance testing and other project related issues
- To investigate production defects and performance failure analysis together with business unit QA managers to determine the corrective actions, advice and recommendation for improvement
Requirements
- Degree in Quality Management/Engineering/Manufacturing Management or equivalent; Master qualification is highly preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance gained in manufacturing or trading environment in which 5 years at the managerial level; hands-on experience in managing supplier's quality control and assurance is essential
- Familiar with consumer electronic products and experienced in leading and coordinating QA teams to manage change programs to improve workflow, regulations and standards, compliances and business re-engineering
- Familiar with international quality and safety standards including ISO 9000, ISO14000, RoHS, WEEE, REACH etc
- Strong leadership, planning, and analytical skills with proactive, flexible and result-oriented personality
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with ability to work in a rapid changing environment
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Station in Shenzhen, China
