Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller of China Division, you will be responsible for leading the group consolidation reporting process, preparing group management reports as well as reviewing financial and management accounts of group companies. You will perform group budgeting, forecasting and formulate financial policies and control procedures. You are also expected to ensure compliance of statutory / tax reporting and liaise with external / internal auditors. In addition, you will lead a small team and in charge of accounting function for head office and participate in ad hoc projects.

Requirements

University degree in Accounting / Finance and HKICPA / ACCA qualification or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in auditing and/or accounting including 3 years' commercial experience in accounting, tax and legal issues in retail business in China.

Prior exposure in system implementation will be advantageous

Sound knowledge of group consolidation and budgeting process as well as China accounting standards and tax regulations

Strong business acumen with excellent interpersonal skill and proven people management abilities

Proactive, able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines

Proficient in written and spoken English and Putonghua
